On January 30th, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a public health emergency of international concern, and in early February the WHO recognized it as an epidemic. On February 24th the WHO confirmed multiple epidemics in different parts of the world. On March 11th, the WHO declared the situation a pandemic.

Our travel insurance products do not cover losses arising from epidemics or pandemics as per the Exclusions mentioned in our Policy Wording. It is very important that you read the Exclusions of the Policy Wording carefully and make sure you understand exactly “what is covered” and “what is not covered”, and what to do should you need to submit a claim.
