In the case of your car being financed or leased, the finance company will expect you to have coverage. However, if you don’t have a local UAE driving license, but one from one of the countries listed below, you are still eligible to apply for a car insurance policy. Yes, you can receive an online quote even if you do not have the registration number for your car. Please fill in the online quotation form. Once these are filled in please click on the ‘get a quote button, which will then prompt you to choose the car details and lead you to getting the online quote… even if you don’t have the registration number.

Some providers allow multiple drivers to be named on a single insurance policy. If the provider of your choice offers this facility, the names of the drivers will be collected at the end of the policy purchase process. Simple.

To cut administration costs and keep our prices down for customers, we take payment by credit card (Visa and MasterCard). For the same reason, we don’t handle cheques or cash.

Once the refund value is deducted on pro-rata basis, the payment will be reversed to you credit card and could take two - three weeks.

You should receive a reminder from us indicating that your car insurance is about to expire soon. Follow the instructions that will lead you to our website where it will be done for you.

Your details are already with us, so you won’t have to bother typing in all of the same info again. If your provider offers any renewal benefits, you are automatically eligible to receive the same from us.

You have the option to choose between an Agency or a Non Agency as the garage of your choice which appears when you ask for your quote. This would vary from Provider to Provider and you can choose which suits you best. If you opt for Agency Repair, you’ll be assigned the agency workshop for your repairs. If not, you can choose a garage for your claim.

Excess is only applicable for Comprehensive Insurance and refers to the amount the insurer will deduct from any compensation to you in the event of a non-recoverable claim due to an accident. The minimum excess will be stated in your insurance policy and can differ from insurer to insurer. Most policies have the option of selecting a voluntary excess in return for a reduction in premium, check your quote or policy details.

In order to make a claim, first you need to make sure you have all the necessary documents: original police report, copy of the vehicle’s registration card and copy of the driver’s license. You will find the insurance company’s telephone number on the front of the insurance card or online.

Some companies offer car replacement as part of the policy, other companies may offer it as an optional add on. If you have this cover included in your policy, you’ll be eligible to get a replacement car provided you meet the terms stated in the policy.

While the registration period of your car is 12 months, the Traffic Authorities in the UAE give you a one month ‘grace period’ to complete the annual registration of your car. The 13 months covers you for that one extra month.

If you are using a company car as a personal car, then you can simply use our website by providing your personal details and get an online quote.
